MICA Leadership Summit Africa 2009

The season two of the “Movement for Islamic Cultural Awareness” (MICA) Leadership Summit Africa was held at the National Art Theatre,Lagos,Nigeria on the 1st and 2nd of August 2009.The theme for this years’ MICA Leadership Summit is “Strategiesd,Agility and Resilience in Turbulent Times”.

The Movement for Islamic Culture and Awareness is a not-for-profit, faith-based organization
established for the propagation of Islam. It is an association of young Muslim professionals,
graduates and undergraduates. Founded in 1994, MICA came into being as an
antidote to the contemporary social-cultural problems facing Muslims in the corporate world.
MICA members are of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

The MICA Leadership Summit Africa isĀ  primarily intended to instill practical but effective ways of developing the individual mind and spirit which will ultimately give an edge in corporate Nigeria.

About MICA
The National Headquarters is in Lagos and its members meet every Sunday
at Crescent Schools, 1004 Flats, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Currently MICA has chapters in Lagos, Kaduna, Abuja and Ilorin.
